Automotive Product Design

Our Mechanical Design Engineering team is passionate about designing better products for the drone and transportation production industry as well as motorsports. Our team of engineers have extensive experience in all types of automotive, drone, and transportation technology. We have been involved in factory production design and all forms of motorsports also aircraft and spacecraft.

Our engineers have designed suspension parts for Cadillac, chassis parts for Ford, racing parts used on Porsches, and custom prototype cars used in sports car racing. We have also designed components for spacecraft company Rocket Plane. We have also been involved in other forms of motorsports such as drag racing and circle track stock cars.

We have designed suspension and aerodynamic components using the latest CAD tools and simulations. Suspension geometry is essential to any properly handling vehicle whether an off road ATV or a LeMans racing sports car. We use computer simulations to track the behavior of suspension as it travels through it’s useful range. We look at the internal stresses of the parts to determine they are safe for the expected loads.

Chassis and frame design is where we excel. We were chosen by Wolf Racing Cars of Italy to design the Wolf GB09 IMSA Daytona Prototype. We believe that we are the first all-American design engineering firm selected by an Italian manufacturer to design a race car to be branded as an Italian product. This race car was also destined to be a road going sports car.
